On 17 November 2019, the last day of three day 2nd cricket tournament in swift group of colleges was grandly held. Chief guest shri Gorav Goyal, president of bhartya janta yuva morcha of Chandigarh attended the tournament. On this occasion, Dr. Gopal Munjal, the president of swift group of college also attended and graced the stage. 40 teams participated in this competition. On the last day, between the 8 teams, quarter finals,semi finals and finals was held. On this occasion, it was interesting that chief guest and president of swift group of college also made their own teams and encouraged the teams by playing cricket. In the finals, Ghaggar sarai team won the tournament cup, by playing exciting game in the finals. Other distinguished guests included BJYM executive member, Dr. Maninder, Assistant Director of swift group of colleges and the entire staff of swift group of colleges.

An educational trip to Ch. Devi Lal herbal nature park, Chuharpur, Haryana was organized on 16th October 2019 by Swift School of Pharmacy. The students of B.Pharmacy 1st & 5th semester enthusiastically participated in it. The students enjoyed and felt wonder on knowing the herbal plants. Students explored almost 200 medicinal & traditional plants used worldwide. This helped a lot in enhancing knowledge of the students regarding medicinal value of the plants. It was a wonderful trip and students have given positive feedback for this trip.

On 1st Oct. 2019, Swift Group of Colleges, Rajpura organised Swachh Bharat Abhiyan with much enthusiasm and active participation of the faculty, staff and students.

The programme started with a motivational speech .While addressing the teachers and the students of the College by Dr. Anita soni Principal of STC appealed to everyone to become a part of this campaign and contribute their efforts to make the drive a big success. After that, all participants took pledge on Cleanliness and launched cleanliness drive by cleaning surroundings of ceiling fans, classrooms, Laboratories and open space of SGOC. Dr. Maninder appreciated the work done by the Staff and students of the instiuition and emphasized on cooperation of all the students in maintaining the Campus premises clean. Dr. Maninder, Assistant Director Dr Anita Soni, Principal of the STC, Mr. Anshu Gupta, Officiating Principal of Pharmacy, Ms. Balwinder Kaur from Nursing Deptt. and all faculty members from each Deptt. were present in this programme.

On the occasion of world health day on 29-09-2019 Swift Institute of Nursing, organized awareness campaign on 30-09-2019.

The nursing students of Swift Institute of Nursing participated in rally regarding healthy habit for prevention of heart diseases. Rally was conducted from ITI Chownk to A.P. Jain Hospital, Rajpura. The Senior Medical Officer Dr. Jagpal Singh and Matron also motivated the students & public regarding prevention of heart diseases.

Students raised the slogan My Heart, My Hero. Students of Swift Institute of Nursing, Rajpura played skit and given Health talk and posters competition in the OPD Block on the same theme.
