Swift Technical Campus - Fresher Party


A fresher party named (Briskers Party), was organized at Swift Technical Campus to welcome the newly admitted students for the session 2019-20 with fun, hope, positiveness and passion as a part of their family for next three years.

Dr. Gopal Munjal ( President), Dr. Maninder Mehmi (Asstt. Director), Ms. Shikha Shah (HOD) and Dr Anita Soni, Principal of the STC welcome the newest members in the college.
The students organized various activities like dancing singing, skit and games for the young freshers. All the students gave their best performance which was applauded by the members present in the party. Ms. Amanjot and Mr. Talu Dabu were awarded the title of Ms. Fresher and Mr. Fresher. Mr. Gurmeet Singh and Miss Mehakpreet Kaur won the Mr. and Ms. Smile. Mr. Sukhwinder Sing and Miss. Kulvinder Kaur won the title of Mr.Singh and Miss Kaur. On the occasion Dr. Anita Soni, Principal of STC motivated the young student’s to work hard and achieve the best in their career.

Plastic Ban Rally


On 26 September,2019 Plastic Ban rally was conducted at Swift Technical Campus. Students of STC took part in the rally and distributed pamphlets among people to stop using plastic material in any form. That waved a banner that said, Save earth and avoid polythene covers, holding placards that carried a green message and also raising slogans against the use of plastic items. They also aware the people especially the youth about the adverse effects of non-biodegradable material on animals, plants, marine species, and human beings. Principal Ms. Anita Soni flagged off the rally along with faculty members of the college.

The main aim was to encourage the youth to avoid use of plastic cover and bags that cause irrevocable damage to the environment.

Worlds Pharmacist Day


The Worlds Pharmacist Day was celebrated by Swift School of Pharmacy, Rajpura. The event was organized on 25th Sep.2019 in Pharmacy Department. The theme for this year was Safe and effective medicines to all. The event was started with an introductory speech of Principal Sir Mr. Anshu Gupta regarding history and importance of World Pharmacist Day. Mr. Nadeem Khan, HOD, shared a theme based presentation and instructed the gathering regarding the pharmacists role in safeguarding patient safety. The stress was given on improving the medication use and reducing medication error. At the end of the presentation, a theme based questioning round was held for students. All the students and faculty members enthusiastically participated and celebrated World Pharmacist Day.

SGOC attended the Red ribbon meeting


The red ribbon, as an awareness ribbon, is used as the symbol for the solidarity of people living with HIV/AIDS, and for the awareness and prevention of drug abuse and drunk driving.

On 20th sept 2019, Swift Group Of Colleges attended the Red ribbon meeting in which Mr.Yadwinder, Dr. Rajeev and Dr. Sukhwinder Singh were the chief guests. They gave the motivational speeches and cures to overcome these issues. The main motive of red ribbon club is to cure HIV and DRUG. Secondly to increase the safest blood donors specially in punjab.
