PRATIBHA the annual youth festival was organised by Swift Group of Colleges on 22nd January, 2020. Various competitions and cultural programs were held on the occasion. Special invitees included school students of 10+2 class who participated in all events with much vigor. Swift Group President Dr. G. Munjal inaugurated the fest along with Chief Guest Dr. Paramvir Singh, coordinator NSS, Punjabi University, Swift Group College Assistant Director Dr. Maninder Mehmi, Administrator Brig. G. J. Singh and individual Swift Group College Principals. Guests of Honor included Sh. Kulbhushan Singh, DEO Secondary, District Patiala and Sh. Vikas Sharma, BJP leader from Rajpura. The enthusiasm of college and school students was seen to be believed.
Lohri Celebration at SGOC
Swift Group of Colleges celebrated Lohri festival at its campus at Ghaggar Sarai with much fever. All group colleges including their staff and students participated in the fun filled event. Bonfire was illuminated by girl students to mark DHIYAN DI LOHRI to dedicate the occasion to girl child. All had a gala time dancing around bonfire to the beats of dholi. Lohri snacks were distributed amongst gathering who were enthralled to the tunes of punjabi songs. The bonhomie amongst staff and students was seen to believe as they collectively performed gidha and bhangra. At the end managment wished everyone a great festival time to enjoy with near and dear ones.

Pharmacy week celebration
National Pharmacy Week (NPW) was celebrated at Swift School of Pharmacy on 19th- 20th November 2019. Indian Pharmacy Association has given the theme for this year was Pharmacists: Your medication counsellor. The celebrations began with the Pharmacy Oath ceremony conducted by Mr. Anshu Gupta, Assoc. Professor, Swift School of Pharmacy. The following activities were organized during NPW celebrations 2019 on first day session:
• Poster presentation
• Collage making
• Rangoli
• Best out of waste
It was followed by the official inauguration of National Pharmacy Week celebrations and speech by chief guest Mr. Ankush Mahajan, Patent attorney, Ideas2IPR, Noida, Delhi. In his address, he highlighted the role and significance of intellectual property rights and Drug Regulatory Authorities, in enforcing the laws related to pharmacy profession. Next, the guest of honour, Parminder Singh, Sr. associate, Ideas2IPR, Noida, Delhi, took the podium and gave a speech on The roles and responsibilities of pharmacist in intellectual property rights in the current scenario. In the post-lunch session, Brig. (Retd) G. J. Singh addressed the students regarding their future and career opportunities of Pharmacist in defence services. The participants and winners of different events were awarded. The program concluded with Vote of thanks by Dr. Sushma Gupta, Principal SSP, to all the students, staff and management for their participation and support.
