Swift Group of Colleges celebrated annual sports event that spanned for one week starting 22nd February, 2021 and culminating on 26th February. All colleges staff and students participated with much fervor. Major sporting events that took place over the week included Throwball, Cricket, Volleyball, Football, Khokho, Tug of war, Races, Long jump & Discus throw. Other than these many fun games were also organised like Spoon race, Sack race, Frog race, etc which were thoroughly entertaining and hugely participated. The finale in 26th February was marked by Golfing tournament that was led by Dr Gopal Munjal,Honble President, SGOC, Dr Maninder, Assistant Director, special invitee Brig. G.J. Singh, VSM and few other staff. Later in the day prizes were distributed amongst the winners. Dr Munjal praised all staff and students for their contribution & efforts in making the event a huge success.

Swift Group of Colleges celebrated Lohri festival with much fervor in the venerated presence of Dr G. Munjal, Group President and Dr Maninder, Assistant Director. Staff and students of all colleges were also present on the occasion. After lighting the Lohri fire by Dr Munjal, all paid obeisance to the Almighty. Dr Munjal and Dr Maninder wished the gathering a happy & joyful Lohri celebrations. Later everybody enjoyed and danced to the beats to DJ and dhol. Sweets were distribute among staff and students and everyone enjoyed the function to the full.

16th December each year is celebrated as Foundation Day of Swift Group of Colleges (SGOC). This year too, the day was marked by organizing Shri Sukhmani Sahib path to garner blessings of Almighty.

The occasion was graced by the presence of Dr Gopal Munjal, President, Dr Maninder, Asst Director along with faculty and other staff members. Dr Munjal congratulated all staff members and also motivated them to work hard so that SGOC could achieve new heights.

SGOC organised a two day Annual Sports meet on 13th & 14th Feb, 2020. Students & staff from all the group colleges participated in the event with much vigor. Various indoor and field games were organised to mark the show. There were some team competitions that included football, volleyball, throwball, kho-kho, etc to enhance cohesion amongst SGOC family and some individual competitions were held like carrom, chess, badminton, table-tennis, etc to takeout individual capabilities. The management of the SGOC including Dr. G. Munjal, President, Dr. Maninder, Assistant Director, Brig. G. J. Singh, V.P. (Admin) & Principals of colleges also took keen interest and motivated participants throughout the events. The events culminated with sunset on 14th Feb and winners were given certificates, medals & trophies by the group President. During valedictory ceremony Dr. Munjal cited the importance of sports and healthy lifestyle for overall development in an individual. He also motivated students to play sports in serious manner so that they could further compete in University and state level competitions for which he assured full support from college authorities.
